The weekend came and left, school day monday looming over us. Kevin only spent that Friday night, by Saturday he was back home across town. He said, he had lots of fun over Friday night. The Ouija Board was a new experience for him and he said he would like to try it again, someday. As for me, I did, at first, but after it mentioned about my mother. I wished it never came into our home.

The house started to come alive more. With more footsteps, more slamming of doors, and the roaming cold spot made it hard to concentrate on home work or even simple fun and games. We watched TV with one eye to the Dining Room. The center of all of the activity. It was funny, but anyone that sat in the living room, would look over their shoulders or glance to it from their seat and when asked they would reply,"oh, nothing, I thought I saw something from the corner of my eye." Even I could not stop looking at the room.

It was now tuesday, and my brother and I was off at school. My Mother had the day off from work and of course, my father was driving the bus, doing his route. The day was uneventful at school and we came home from school to find no one home. Which wasn't unusual. i though that maybe Kay came over and took my mother shopping or something like that. I entered into the kitchen to find a note.......

Dear Johnny,
Your mom has been in an accident with the oven, downstairs. She's severely burnt her hand, arm and partially her face. They took her to Nassau Community Hospital in the ambulance. I will go there, I already called your father and he is on the way to the hospital. Hopefully she come home tonight, call my son Nicky at 516 XXX-XXXX and he'll help you out, till we get back.
Kay

Now I was SCARED, it came true, sort of. it happen here, not at work. I kept on feeling it was my fault, and felt guilty. My Mom was now hurt, by WHATEVER, and I'm the one who spelled it out for her. Why did she make me play with the stupid Ouija board? Did the Ghost carry out this accident and hurt my mom? What if the ghost, wants to harm me now?? My head filled with all kinds of predicaments. So, I called Nicky.

He came over to make sure we were alright and stayed with us, till my father came home. With out Mom.
