The Visit to the most Famous Voodoo Priestess - Marie LáVeau

In Saint Louis Cemetary I, in the north central part of the city is one of the most famous tombs of a Voodo Priestess, Marie LaVeau. Many flock to her tomb to see it, worship it, and give offering to the great priestess. I, John Carr, did the same, but we only had a hour to view everything, since Mardi Gras was in full swing, they thought the crowds would cause harm to the tombs. Well, we found her, after about 20 minutes of searching down narrow paths, decaying tombs, and some of the most eerry sections. And this was in Day light, imagine at night.

Her tomb is at St. Louis Cemetary 1.

On Saint John's Day, people say they still see her doing her magic at the cemetary.

A couple of days later, we visited Old St. Louis Cemetary. Where the great Voodoo Queen, Marie Laveau resides. It's said during St. John's day she come back to life and walks the cementary a companied by servants, guest of naked flesh engaged in sex and snakes.

I left my offering of money and expensive colgne which dripped from the coin. Later that eve, I was visited in my dreams by Three Malato women, one was Laveau, she was beautiful, light skinned octoroon with a turban, she asked me what I wanted for such a lovely smelling gift. I told her, hope it comes true.....

I gave offerings at 2 other tombs, thinking they might be her before finally reaching her tomb

There was so many other sites which held the other Voodoo Priestesses, daughters and others, that I left them offerings as well. Later in a dream like state at the hotel I was visited by the 3. They said that they wanted to to express their appreciation. The center woman looked like Marie LáVeau. She was beautiful and had a white turban on her head. She thanked me for the sweet perfume (as she called it, and it was Marie that I left the Cologne) and said that she would grant me a wish. I was stunned and scared in my Daydream, not knowing if this was real or not. Later, I found out it was real and she granted me my wish. It was to speak to a Dead loved one. It happened 1 month to the day I visited her Tomb. Marie brought my dearly departed to me and We spoke for about a 1/2 an hour and they were gone. I cried for about a hour afterwards. It was the first time that anything that Magical happened to me. I was truly blessed by her visit and mine to her.
