Off this balcony, a slave girl running for her life fell to her death, being chased by the Mistress Lalaurie. The house has an even darker side. The Mistress had a torture chamber where she and her doctor husband carried out bizarre torture to their disobiedent slaves. During a fire in the house the firemen found the room of horror in which seal behind thick sealed doors. One of their victims who lived became a side show attraction, her arms, and legs were broken in a manner in which she could fit inside a 3 X 5 box. She was billed as the Crab lady. There was people tranformed into gargoyle like, sex changed statues who were impaled on the thick walls of chamber of horror. They say on some nights you can see a armless, legless tourso, whiggling on the balcony. One of the Sadistic victims of the Family of Lalaurie.
